About Us

Thomas M. Peirce, located at 2300 W Street and Cambria Street, is a small elementary school with a student population of  290 students. Peirce’s staff strives to provide our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work cooperatively, communicate effectively, use reasoning to solve problems, express themselves creatively and use technology efficiently so that all will become successful, lifelong, independent learners.

Vision – We envision a PK – 5 school of excellence. Through authentic partnerships with families and in community scholars will be seen, challenged and empowered to thrive academically, emotionally and socially. Our principles are grounded in high expectations, strong relationships and cultural pride.

Mission – Our mission is to work in partnerships with families and the communities to provide rigorous, culturally responsive instruction, create safe and joyful learning environments and hold high expectations for every scholar while nurturing strong relationships that support academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
